At a glance all social media channels may seem similar, but in reality, each channel tends to attract a specific demographic. 

By understanding the user demographics of each social media channel, you can make a more informed decision about where to focus your marketing dollars.

  • 77% are women
  • 73% of people aged 50 or older use Meta
  • 73% of users have a college degree
  • 70% of users have household income of $75,000 or more

  • 81% of Americans use YouTube
  • 80% are women
  • 91% of people between the ages of 30-49 use YouTube
